  • Stone to Flesh 371 N. Powell Ave. #H204 Azusa, CA 91702 United States (map)

ONLINE: Wednesdays 7:30pm PST, Dec. 1, 8, 15, and 22

Join our weekly online meetup too challenge each other during Advent with exploring what does it mean to live a simple lifestyle as Christians in the 21st century.

We will read a book by Fr. Dubay ‘Happy Are You Poor” but this is not a book club, it goes beyond that. We are aiming at:

  • reconsidering: what we own

  • rethinking about what we need

  • repenting from misusing time and items in our possessions, and choosing to live simpler, healthier, and more wholesome lives as Christians in. the West

  • what are biblical wisdom and examples of the saints as far as the principles for a Christian lifestyle go

  • what does it mean to be materially blessed and where does it stop

  • what have we twisted to suit our human egos

  • what is prosperity Gospel

  • should we become poor and what does it mean

  • is being rich a sin

  • how to be prudent in possessing things

  • what does it mean to live in gratitude and to give away

  • how to respond to the needs of others

This online course is free but we will ask for donations for our Stone to Flesh Community.
