We did it ourselves.

We are in the second month of our FLOW Mentoring and Networking Platform which creates space for leaders to learn, connect and practice new ideas. We meet online once month with 10 teams from all over USA (and Spain) and we meet with individual teams on a monthly basis.

Here is of one the thoughts I had after praying yesterday when we finished our second-month session.

He/she is not a leader who is merely popular, dynamic, magnetic, with a fascinating personality, incredible experience or having great things to say to energize the crowd. There are thousands of those because all these things can be manufactured, rehearsed, and copied.

A leader draws others by his/her ability to create a space of deep peace and trust into which you want to come back. Leadership is about how to create a place for unhurried processes, inner growth, supernatural Presence. It is about making an environment where you can disarm lies about yourself, help you receive and craft a guidance for a vision and will love you through the process.

A leader is a person who will help you discover your greatness and face your fears, he/she will open your eyes to the grandeur of God and invite you to design a pathway to experience Him. Leadership is about exposing people to the seed like practices of faithfulness so you can grow fruit on the branches of your life.

Leader is a person who will make you feel like you are the one who made progress and will deploy you on your journey of faith, equipped with trusting heart, healed soul and vision worthy of your life and then disappear, cheering you from the distance.

A leader makes himself invisible and moves away to the side where His reward is awaiting him in hundredfold fruits visible in his disciple’s life.

A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves.
