Iwona Bednarz-Major is a founder, creator, and Director of Stone to Flesh Community and its flagship programs, School of the Heart and FLOW Mentoring and Networking Platform as well as Whole Person Healing - Hildegard initiative. She has been a missionary in Russia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and USA since 1991 and came back to the Catholic Church in 2010. Invited by Bishop David G. O’Connell to move to the Los Angeles area for the purpose of evangelization and lay leaders training her family started ministry here in 2017.

Ministry experience:

• One of the founding members and leaders of Hallelu Jah Catholic Community in Wrocław, Poland;

• Attended Papal Faculty of Theology (Pontificia Facultas Theologica Wratislaviensis) in Wroclaw, Poland. 

• YWAM Disciple Training School student and teacher. 

• Occupation: ICU and Anesthesiology nursing before entering full-time ministry in 1991.

• Ecumenical experience includes city-wide pastoral engagement and ministry across denominational lines since 1990s. ELLEL Ministries training in healing and deliverance. Organized March for Jesus in Poland.

• Community and city-wide worship leading (from small groups to big events such as conferences and stadium events) and worship team leadership in Poland and Russia.

• Translation, live (consecutive and simultaneous) and written: English/Polish/Russian/Ukrainian. She translated worship songs and Taize soloist parts into Polish and these are used nation-wide.

• Established and developed curriculum for Bible studies for kids, youth, young adults, adults, women and homeschooling and community classes: Spiritual Reading, History of the Church and History of Philosophy. Polish language and culture/history classes.

• A youth pastor at Moscow Christian Center spearheading their youth and young adult ministry

• Vineyard pastor / church planter / missionary in Russia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar sent out from St. Louis Vineyard

• Organized nationwide conferences in Moscow, Russia working with Randy Clark (Global Awakening)

• Youth and music leadership in Doha Fellowship in Doha, Qatar

• International House of Prayer staff in Kansas City, Missouri

• Founder of Encounter.Community in Steubenville, Ohio

• Creative Visionary: She is a visionary for the Stone to Flesh Community. She is creating and developing pathways, training, and curriculum for STF School of the Heart, FLOW and Ministry Schools.

• Became certified Specialist in St. Hildegard Sciences via Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Wroclaw, Poland
