“Christ took upon himself this human form of ours. He became Man even as we are men. In his humanity and his lowliness we recognize our own form. He has become like a man, so that men should be like him. And in the Incarnation the whole human race recovers the dignity of the image of God." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who was born in Wroclaw (then Breslau) the city where Iwona (co-founder of Stone to Flesh) grew up and Teah (her daughter) was born. He was a pastor, prophet, theologian who was not afraid to pioneer Acts community lifestyle in the 20th century, among the turmoil of two colossal dictatorships, executed by the Nazis in 1945.

Growing up in Eastern Europe, Middle East and USA she gained a unique set of skills and experiences in dance, spiritual leadership, praise and worship, and visual arts. She currently studies European Cultures in the University of Wroclaw, Poland (where Edith Stein studied) sharing her time between studying, ministering in a youth group and praise and worship bands, teaching English and designing for Stone to Flesh.
